Steve LeBel

Businessmen are serious people, right?  Not always.  Steve LeBel — hospital president, technology entrepreneur, algorithmic trader — is definitely not serious.  Not when he writes.

Whimsy overcomes him at the word processor. Whimsy is at the core of his novel, The Universe Builders, which is told with LeBel’s unique balance of seriousness, humor, and whimsy.

Steve lives in Muskegon, Michigan with his wife and two cats.  When not writing, he can be found cursing the stock market, providing tech support for his friends, or thinking up new plots for The Universe Builders.

Robin Lythgoe

Robin Lythgoe was born in Maryland, but spent several years in Oregon and did a short stint in upstate New York before moving to Utah. She married an artist, and together they have four wonderful children. Reading and writing have always been a part of her life, and she is particularly drawn to fantasy. Her mother often headed up expeditions to the library, from which the entire party invariably returned laden with a stack of books guaranteed to make the arms longer. Robin read everything voraciously, and when she finished her stack, she'd start on her mother's… and then her sisters'. Today she writes tales about wizards and magic, fantastical places and extraordinary journeys.

The sequel to The Goddess’s Choice, titled The Soul Stone, will be released in June 2015 from Black Rose Writing. His fiction works include The Vaetra Chronicles, a swords & sorcery adventure series, The Ternion Order, a contemporary paranormal fantasy series, and The Western Geomancer, a western fantasy adventure series.

Tara Maya

Tara Maya has lived in Africa, Europe and Asia. She's pounded sorghum with mortar and pestle in a little clay village where the jungle meets the desert, meditated in a Buddhist monastery in the Himalayas and sailed the Volga river to a secret city that was once the heart of the Soviet space program. This first-hand experience, as well as research into the strange and piquant histories of lost civilizations, inspires her writing. Her terrible housekeeping, however, is entirely the fault of pixies.

After a move from Toledo to Tampa in 2008, she’s happily transformed into a Floridian, in love with the outdoors. Marsha is crazy about cycling. The first fruit of his efforts is The Summoned King, published in February 2016, as book one of The Kalymbrian Chronicles. Shane Porteous

Why do I write? It is simply who I am. I strive to tell original stories and make sure I am not bound by the traditions of genre. If I had to label my work than it is best described as Alternative Dark Fantasy.

Agatha Raine

I've always had a vivid imagination, ever since I was a child. My mother once asked me why I didn't write my ideas down. At 10, that seemed like a ridiculous amount of work, but by 12 I was scribbling short fan-fiction stories in the back of my notebook between classes. I'll state up front, I support fan-fiction. It's the venue where I first developed my writing and story-telling skills, and to this day, some of my most favored writings are fan-fiction. At 14, I decided I enjoyed writing enough that I wanted to create my own worlds and characters. I began work on a series of unpublished science fiction novels, a ongoing project that lasted me several years. Now, with 13 years of writing under my belt, I've more book ideas than I've got time to write!

To say she is obsessed with drinking tea is an understatement.
